Everything You Need to Know Before You Fly
Planning your flight? We’ve put together answers to the most common questions, along with important travel policies to help you prepare.
Carry-On Luggage
Each passenger on a scenic flight may bring one small carry-on bag (max 2 kg) containing personal items.
Secure, lockable storage is available at our office if you need to leave additional belongings behind.
No Dangerous Goods
For safety, the following items are strictly prohibited on all flights:
- Firearms (unless declared and cleared under company guidelines)
- Knives, blades, or any sharp objects
- Weapons of any type
- Items classified as Dangerous Goods by ICAO or IATA
- Anything considered unsafe or unsuitable by our team
Note: Penalties for attempting to carry unauthorised weapons on board can exceed $10,000.
Child Policy
Scenic Flights: Children aged 5–11 are welcome with an accompanying adult. Child pricing applies.
Charter Flights: Please contact Goolwa Air directly for arrangements involving children.
Passenger Weight
All passenger weights must be provided prior to flight for load planning.
If we believe provided weights may be inaccurate, we may confirm them at check-in.
Passengers over 110 kg should contact us in advance as restrictions may apply.
Pregnancy
Pregnant passengers are welcome. We fly low and smooth — but if you’re unsure, we recommend chatting with your doctor beforehand.
Charter Flights
Yes — we offer private and flexible charter flights.
Please get in touch so we can tailor a charter to your needs.
Pick Up & Drop Off
Local transfers to and from Goolwa Airport can be arranged depending on availability.

Night Flying
We do not operate flights after sunset.
All flights are scheduled during daylight hours for your comfort and safety.
Cancellation Policy
All flights are weather-dependent and subject to aircraft availability.
- If your flight is cancelled due to weather or maintenance, you’ll be offered a new date or full refund.
- If you cancel within 24 hours, we’ll offer you a new time or a voucher for future use.
- Weather-related delays on the day of flight are not considered cancellations.
Please note: Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash and cannot be refunded.
